Pecan shell is often used for blast cleaning oil field boiler tubes, equipment, oil drilling rigs. Oil field companies use it as a lost circulation media. It is often used the same way walnut shell is used - cleaning softer substrates such as brass, fiberglass boat hulls, wood. It is also used as water filtration media due to its high carbon content - is great for removing heavy metals from water. There are thousands of different uses for crushed pecan shell, including use as an anti-skid, anti-slip grit additive for epoxies and resins, as a thickening agent, use in adhesive manufacturing, heavy metal removal from water.
We offer only one size of pecan shell in 45 lb bags, with online ordering above via UPS. If you buy a pallet, the bags will be 50 lb bags, 40/pallet.
